Measuring the Satisfaction of Passengers with the High Speed Bus System

The expansion of cities has increased travel demand during peak hours of work and education. Responses to the need for daily travel of urban populations, especially in large cities, are not the responsibility of non-profit organizations. So moving towards the use of a variety of public transportation systems, on top of which, high speed buses, is obvious and inevitable in order to move people in cities. In this research, the main objective is to measure passenger's satisfaction with the bus lines in Shiraz. Collected data was analyzed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical methods, multivariate regression method. The results indicate that safety, reliability, accessibility, appearance and amenities have been effective on passenger satisfaction, and the mean total satisfaction of 1.90 points out the lack of satisfaction of passengers with this transportation system.
