Investigating the Relationship between Organizational Justice and Commitment: Mediator Role of Organizational Sound and Silence

Abstract:
Today, maintaining and enhancing organizational commitment has become one of the most important challenges for most organizations. Therefore, this study seeks to identify factors affecting organizational commitment with an emphasis on organizational justice and role of organizational sound and silence. Population of this research is employees of commercial banks in Tehran, Qom and Shiraz cities. Data was collected using clustering sampling method and questionnaire were used. Questionnaires were distributed among employees and 210 were returned. Reliability and validity was verified using Cronbach's alpha, composite reliability and average variance extracted. Structural equation modeling method applies for testing conceptual model. Results show that all paths of organizational justice and organizational commitment was significant and confirmed the relationships between them. We can conclude that investment in organizational justice with organizational silence and sound can help to improve employees commitment.
