The Impact of Organizational Culture (Humanistic, Achievement Oriented) on Innovation with the Mediating Role of Employee Happiness

Today, most organizations are faced with a dynamic environment characterized by technological features such as rapid technological changes, product lifecycles, and the process of globalization. In such an environment, innovation is a very important factor in the success and achievement of competitive advantage. In fact, the institutionalization of the culture of innovation in the organization is the secret of the survival of local institutions in the growing global competition. The present research studies the effect of organizational culture (humanist and achievement-oriented) on innovation with the mediating role of employee happiness. The research method of the paper is descriptive-correlative and practical based on the objective. The data gathering tool is a questionnaire and the statistical population of the research was Hamedan province Jihad Agriculture employees. The sample size was 90 people according to Cochran formula, and a questionnaire was used to collect data. Data was analyzed using structural equation modeling technique and Smart PLS software. Results showed that humanistic organizational culture has a positive and meaningful effect on innovation directly and indirectly through the mediating variable of employee happiness. Achievement -oriented culture affects the innovation only indirectly through happiness. On the other hand, happiness in the work environment has a positive and significant effect on innovation.
