Investigation of the Nature of Globalization and its Relationship with the System of Domination in Ayatollah Khamenei's Thinking

It is necessary to explain the views of the great Muslim leaders and thinkers about the issue of globalization in order to enrich this discussion and the production of indigenous sciences and to adopt strategies for proper interaction in accordance with the conditions of Iran and the Islamic world. The main aim of this research is to discover the nature of globalization, and its relationship with the domination system from the perspective of Ayatollah Khamenei. For this purpose, statements of the supreme leader were selected from June 1989 to December 2016 as a statistical society. Then, by applying qualitative content analysis method, the model of the relationship between the domination system and globalization was extracted from the viewpoint of Ayatollah Khamenei. In his view, globalization is a program and plan by the dominators with the aim of domination of the world that within the framework of the domination system could be analyzed. Therefore, globalization is part of a new colonialism to impose American domination and Western powers, which today imposes it as a new, intellectual theory on the world. Ultimately, globalization is a threat to all countries and nations of the world. Of course, he believes that, contrary to the Western claims, globalization is not the destiny of the countries and the Iranian nation is opposed to the domination system and resists global domination.
