The Interpretative Opinions of Sayyad Jamal ad-Din Asadabadi and the Social Aspects

Abstract:
Sayyad Jamal ad-Din Asadabadi was the religious ideologist and social reformer in the last century in the Islamic world who always had solving the problems of the Islamic society in mind. His ideas formed on the ground that the only force able to cure Islamic societies and prevent their fall was the real presence of Quran teachings in all social aspects and "return to Quran". With such Quranic approach, he inferred the rules of having a blissful life in the world and after world. Therefore, his approach was of social approach and used Quran verse to present humanity a calm and progressive life. The reforming hope of Sayyad Jamal was to form an Islamic state where unity is ruling all throughout the state. He analyzed the ways of reaching "unity in the world of Islam" in two parts: 1) requirements and the factors forming unity 2) obstacles in forming unity. Therefore, using citation-analytic methodology to the interpretation of Quran verses, these two factors will be studied in this article.
