The Effect of Extract of Some Medicinal Plants on Control of Botrytis cinerea caused The Gray Mold in Vitro Condition

Abstract:
Gray mold of Strawberry by Botrytis cinerea (Anamorph Botryotinia fuckeliana ) is one of the most destructive foliar diseases of Strawberry in the world that has significant effect on yield loss in the world. Excessive consumption of agricultural chemicals to control disease is due to environmental pollution and pathogen resistant. So, finding alternative way seems necessary to manage the disease. In order to evaluated four extract medicinal plants to control fungal growth Gray mold Strawberry, factorial experiment were conducted in a complementary randomized block design with three replications in terms of in vitro condition. The results show that there were significant differences among extract plants and different evaluation time at 1% level. Also, with increasing the concentration of fungal growth inhabitation increased, so that extract of Neem , summer Savory and Oregano showed the best effect on the growth of mushrooms diameter.
