Study of The Prevention Police Measures in the field of crime prevention through environmental design - with emphasis on the external Cooperation (Case Study: Tehran bozorg)

One of the ways of preventing crime that has less social and economic costs and helps to prevent crimes significantly is the crime prevention through environmental design that is less attended and used in our country. The goal of this research is optimal use of this type of preventive measures by the prevention police in Tehran bozorg, through the review of the current situation to provide suitable measures and achieve the desired conditions. This research is applicable and in terms of goals is exploratory. The research method is descriptive-analytical. The statistical society 117 of is the related scientific experts and police in the city of Tehran had scientific and practical background. The external measures of prevention police in the field of Crime Prevention through environmental design follow nine targets, such as increasing the threshold capacity, strengthening social solidarity, improve natural monitoring…. constituent components and the respective indicators are approved by the experts. Accordingly, in the field of external measures for crime prevention through environmental design, there is a real difference between the status quo and desirable and with any level of error, suppose of desirable status quo has been rejected. According to the research findings in the evaluation of the detailed interview with experts, causes the distance between the status quo and the desired is specified in this way: not serious interfering police in crime prevention through environmental design in the country seriously, the lack of transparent and binding regulations for organizations and people in this field, some organizational deficiencies such as: manpower specialist, the necessary training and organizational credits needs.
