DETERMINANTS OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT (FDI), the Mena Region (1980 -2015)

FDI is counted one of important factor of growth and economic development in host countries that has had increasing process recently. Determinants recognition of FDI can be useful for developing countries. This paper considers determinants of FDI in the Mena region during 1980-2015. Mentioned analysis has estimated with random effect pattern for separating special differences. This paper presents the findings of a econometrics analysis, the results indicate that: degree of openness, rate of capital return, economic growth and human capital and broad money are significant and have positive effect on FDI and R&D and corruption are insignificant.
