Effect of Behavior Therapy on Increasing the Hardiness of Patients Referring to Dental Services

This study aimed to determine the effect of behavioral therapy on increasing the hardiness among clients of dental services. Research method was experimental with pretest-posttest design and control group. The study population included all clients (at the age of 25 to 45) who referred to the clinics and dental offices of Ardabil city in 2015. Sampling was done through convenience method. Therefore, from among the clients interested in this study 40 subjects (20 women and 20 men) were selected as research sample. Then the subjects were randomly assigned experimental (n=20) and control (n=20) groups. Experimental group were provided eight into sessions of behavioral therapy but control group had their daily routine. Data collection was done through Psychological hardiness questionnaire.
