Histological Analysis of Type of Mast Cells in Random Skin Flaps by Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells through Biological Growth Factor.

The skin flap is one of the most commonly used methods in plastic surgery. Flap necrosis is a complication of skin flaps. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of bone marrow mesenchymal cells (BM-MSCs) and chick embryo extract (CEE) on mast cells in Random Skin flap(RSF) in rat.
40 male albino Wistar rats weighing 250-300g were divided into four groups (Control, CEE / BM-MSCs, CEE and BM-MSCs). The RSF(80mm × 30) was placed behind the animals. The surgery day was day zero and treatment intervention on this day. Mesenchymal stem cells were extracted from rat bone marrow. CEE was prepared from a 9 days fetal chicken breed of Marandi. On the seventh day after the surgery, samples were taken to evaluate all types of mast cells in the transitional line.
Based on the ANOVA, the results were as follows: The difference between the mean number of type 1 mast cells (P = 0.099), type 2 (P = 0.384) in the study groups was not statistically significant, but in type 3, was significant (P = 0.001). There was a statistically significant difference between the mean total number of mast cells in the BM-MSCs receiving group with other experimental groups (P=0.001).
Discussion and Increase of type 2 of mast cells,improveing microvessels and decreasing type 3, cause to reduce scar and fibrosis .
