US and the West Strategies Facing Islamic Republic of Iran, Emphasizing Compromise and Change From within Strategies

Islamic revolution in Iran occurred to seek the revival and superiority of revolutionary
Islam in Iran and throughout the world, shaping Islamic government based on the rejection of any domination and being dominated, objecting the domineering regime governing the world, and returning to original Islamic culture and values. This made superpowers, especially US, to oppose Iran using different methods and means. A religious democratic regime in Iran based on divine legitimacy and public acceptance, has challenged liberal democracy, i.e. the most important achievement of the West. Therefore, exploiting war, deterrence and control of the Islamic Republic, compromise and changing from inside, apparently are among different strategies used by the revolution adversaries. Considering the present conditions and after the so-called Barjam agreement, we come across, at least, two questions: First, regarding this agreement which is due to the acceptance of compromise strategy, has the adversary nature of the West and US toward Iran changed? Second, what is the aim and strategy of the enemy in the present conditions? It seems the enemy has changed its tactic but maintained its nature and is going to reach its aim using penetration project. The penetration of opportunists and those believe in the West in the Islamic revolution body, penetrating decision-taking and decision-making centers, socializing relation to America and strengthening this relation, widening negotiation fields, removing ideology from domestic and foreign policy are amongst the dangers of the penetration. These dangers are due to the compromise and change from within strategies. In this research we have used descriptive-analytical method.
