The Native Social Sciences (Whats and Hows)

Social Sciences with all its approaches, and Iranian or native Sociology in specific, denote an epistemological system that has as its subject matter, the methodologically descriptive, explanatory, justificatory, ad critical analysis of cultural, social, historical, and linguistic problems of the Iranian society. Obviously, in its ideal form, such a field will maintain an organic connection with the universal trends of sociology parallel to its native attachments. Even though such a scientific field with all its specificities is consented by the majority of the Iranian sociologists and social science figures, the probability for the realization of it is still disputed. The present article aims to identify various perspectives in this regard and elaborate analytically and critically on them based on the usual criteria of the field.
