Abstract:
Today, most of the crimes in all parts of the world belong to men And women commit less crimes.Even commit crimes that men and women are also different. The entry of women into society, Not only has caused more problems for women But at some times With economic and social problems, they have led them to commit crimes. The purpose of this qualitative research Study is why It leads to prostitution the Women of the Hekmat Abad of Kermanshah. The statistical sample was prostitutes Gypsy And in some cases non-gypsy Who were selected With purposeful sampling And in some cases With snowball method. Data Were collected Through an in-depth interview, Focused group And methods like Library and Internet documents. The study showed that Four factors are causes of prostitution: 1. Household Economic Poverty 2.Coercion by husband For the supply of drugs 3. Recreational aspects for gambling 4.Earn more money 5. considering it as a job like other jobs are The reasons of prostitution. Considering the results of the study seem to be affected by this phenomenon of cultural poverty more than poverty.
