Evaluating the quality of the inputs of Educational Administration in master degree

Abstract:

Improvement and development of educational systems and programs to meet the challenges ahead of the main objectives and policies of the authorities of higher education has been.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quality of inputs of Educational Administration field in master degree. The research method in use is survey research and in purpose it belongs to the applied researches. The statistical population consists of the whole body of the faculty, heads of departments and the incoming students of the academic year 2013-2014 (the third and fourth semester students) of state universities in Tehran. The research tool was researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was determined by experts and reliability by Cronbach's alpha test for which the coefficient of 0/94 was obtained that shows it was in an acceptable level. To analyze the data the chi-square test and standard of judgment were applied. The results showed that the overall quality of such factors as: the characteristics of heads of departments, their performance from the perspective of the faculty members and also the characteristics of the faculty members is in a favorable level, also the quality of the following factors is in a fairly appropriate level: the characteristics of the students, educational facilities, goals and policies and curriculum content. students theoretical knowledge, the formation of classes and students improve their English, a change in the content of the curriculum and avoiding repeating graduate courses and undergraduate cited in discussions of issues on the ballot. The results of the study could be used to further the goals of the field of educational management and proposals to address the weakness inputs including motivating teamwork to students in this field by the company the proposals of the formation of Nmvdn practical workshops theory the used students training and the establishment strengthening English language students master the curriculum content and to avoid repetition of issues on the ballot in undergraduate courses and topics raised.
