The Relationship Between Spiritual Intelligence and Scientific Spirit Nursing Students in Saveh city

The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between spiritual intelligence and scientific spirit of nursing students in Saveh. The research was practical in terms of objectives and correlational-descriptive in terms of data collection. The population consisted of 900 of the high school teachers in Saveh among whom 269 individuals were chosen as a sample size using Morgan table and simple random sampling method. The data related spiritual intelligence was collected by using King and Disco (2009) questionnaire and the data related to scientific spirit was collected by using and Saatchi et al. (2010) questionnaire Content validity of the questionnaire was approved by the relevant experts and scholars. Moreover, in order to investigate the reliability of the questionnaire, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used, which the coefficients were 0.95 and 0.96 for the questionnaires, respectively .Analysis of the obtained data was carried out through SPSS21 software in inferential (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation and multiple regression).The findings demonstrated that there was a significant and positive relationship between spiritual intelligence and its dimensions (critical thinking, creation of personal meaning, transcendental consciousness and development of consciousness mode) with scientific spirit of nursing students in Saveh.
