Abstract:
Purpuse: The main purpose of this study was to explain the characteristics of desired teaching and Learning methods of elementary curriculum in bilingual regions from teacher's point of views in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province.
Method
The present study was interdisciplinary in terms of research type. In order to collect data, a researcher-made scale was used. Validity of the questionnaire was evaluated through expert's opinions, and its reliability was estimated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient and estimated at 0/93. The statistical population in the quantitative section consists of 968 primary teachers of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province in bilingual regions of Shahrekord, Ben, Saman, and Boladji and Juneqan districts. Using a Morgan sampling table, 275 people were selected by cluster random sampling as a statistical sample. In the qualitative section, the sample includes 40 primary provincial teachers in the elementary school. In the qualitative section, a semi-structured interview was used to collect data.
Findings: The main results of the research indicated that in explaining the characteristics of teaching methods and techniques of the teaching and Learning methods of elementary curriculum in bilingual regions, the highest priority is given to questions of inquiry, group discussion and role play, and the least priority are programmed teaching methods. Also, the lack of educational and audiovisual media and the lack of diversity of teachers in teaching and learning techniques were in between the most important causes of weakness of teaching and learning techniques from Teachers’ point of views. On the other hand, the use of educational software in teaching and developing a teaching guidebook were the most important reasons for the strength of teaching and learning techniques and learning. There is also no difference between teacher's viewpoints on demographic variables (gender, grade, and record level)
