Designing of Optimum Evaluation Strategy Among Gifted Students of Isfahan: a Mix Method Study

Abstract:
Aim: The aim of this study is designing of optimum evaluation strategy among gifted students of Isfahan. In order to run the research a mix method is applied.
Method
The research population includes all the students and teachers in Isfahan schools for gifted students, and the qualitative and quantitative sampling methods include typical sampling and random ones, respectively. Data collection instruments includes semi-structured interview and the questionnaire is a researcher-made one. In order to evaluate the validity in the qualitative segment check member is applied, while in the quantitative segment, content validity, conformity factor analysis, and α-Kronbach are applied.
Findings: The results reveal that based on the teachers and student's point of view continuous exam, final exam, practical exam, projective exam, creativity, technical dimension of exams and in depth learning are important in evaluation of student. in the quantitative segment result reveal all special are above average expect of final exam.
