Analysis of Violence Against Women (A Case Study of Women in Europe)

One of the current crises in the human community, undeniable expansion of violence against women. In all countries of the world , mistreatment of women is a completely public problem with serious consequences. This problem has threatened women’s mental and physical health and has caused widespread human rights violations. Many studies show that violence against women in the family and community may lead to anxiety, humiliation and ultimately suicide. Many psychologists know the type of division and attention to gender roles as well as the type of socialization as reason for this phenomenon. This unfortunate event has grown to such an extent that this manifest violation of human rights can be seen in the world and even western countries. The most important issue is growing violence and sexual crimes against women in Western developed countries that claim implementing profitable laws for women. For example we have seen increasing violence against women in developed countries, the UK and France But the international community and human rights organizations, because of the particular political interests and the hegemony of these states in the structure of international politics, do not make the smallest protest. Types of violence against women are included domestic violence, rape, sexual violence, physical violence, violence at work, sexual slavery and intimidation. In this article has been analyzed the dimensions of violence, the amount of sexual offenses and the violation of women’s rights in western countries.
