Abstract:
The aim of this research was to study the relationship between perceived competence, and academic achievement with moderating role of perceived self-efficacy in high school girl students in District 2 of Shiraz. The research method was descriptive – correlation and the population of research include all high school girl students in District 2 of Shiraz that a sample of high school girl students was selected via cluster sampling method. The research instrument was: Harter (2012) Perceived Competence Scale for Children, General Self-efficacy scale and Academic Average for academic achievement. Pearson correlation coefficient and regression used for data analysis. Results showed the positive and significant relation between perceived competence, perceived self-efficacy and academic achievement in students.(p
