Identifying the Essential Procedures for Constructing Iranian Elite's Virtual Social Network Based on Craft Techniques

The main purpose of this article is identifying the requirements and essential procedures for the construction of Social Network of Iranian Elites (SNIE). The research method is a qualitative one based on the results of several interviews with the managers of foundations and individual elites as well as reviewing upstream documents that lead to recognizing the scopes, challenges, and determining the actions required for SNIE. The data of this study was gathered via literature review, interviews with the senior executives of the Elites National Foundation, questionnaires, and Craft techniques for the evaluation of risks in the process of achieving the goals of the mentioned network. The outcomes of the interviews and the surveys completed by the senior executives of foundations and the selected elites show that there are four key challenges of trustworthiness, safety, cultural background, and adequate foundation laid ahead of achieving the specified objectives of the network such as cooperation, knowledge contribution, publication, and development of intellectual, financial, and technological supports besides increasing the efficiency of elites’ efforts, which are proportional to the existing goals and challenges, and the determined activities and arrangements. Also, the results of the Craft analysis show the importance of four proceedings of knowledge management, correction, control and review, evaluation of the performance and communication and interaction, to establish the objectives of this network.
