Review of the Role of Financial and Capital Resources in TV News Production

The main aim of this paper is to study the effects of newsroom financial and capital resources on the quality and quantity of TV news production. This research used survey methodology along with a questionnaire distributed among and responded to by the staff of IRIB Central News Unit. The statistical population of the survey included 530 people and the sample population 112 from among the IRIB Central News Unit staff. The data was collected from 102 returned questionnaires and analyzed by the SPSS software. They also indicate that all the variables in the news production process such as physical environmental factors, equipment, budget and services have influence on the production of TV News in terms of quality and quantity.
