Flexible solar cells electrode based on carbonic structures and their nanocomposite
Solar cells due to clean energy supplying and direct conversion of solar light to electricity attracted great attention. Silicon solar cells are brittle and they have high production cost. However polymer solar cells are flexible and they are cheaper in production procedure. The most applicable material for polymer solar cells electrode is Indium Tin oxide (ITO). This material is brittle and consumes a lot of electrical energy for fabrication. Therefore, there is a large demand for the fabrication of polymer solar cell electrode. A lot of materials have been used as electrode in polymer solar cells e. g. graphene, carbon nano tube, conductive polymers and their nanocomposite with metallic and metal oxide structures. In this research we try to study the carbonic structures like graphene, and their composite with other materials used in polymer solar cell electrodes.
