A Contemplation over the Nature of Islamic-Political Knowledge

“Islamic political knowledge” is a general title for all types of political knowledge that has been produced in Islamic civilization and reflected in various works. Nowadays, understanding and reproduction of this invaluable legacy seems necessary for thinkers of the Islamic community through analysis of its ingredients. This article by method of elucidation and relying on authentic sources analyzes ingredients of Islamic political knowledge and attempts to explore the aim, subject and method of Islamic political knowledge as ingredients of this knowledge and achieve an exhaustive definition of the nature of Islamic political knowledge. Studying the aforementioned cases suggest that human prosperity has been the ultimate aim of Islamic political knowledge and its subject-matter is organized by a transcendentally political matter. Besides, the Islamic political knowledge has used different empirical, traditional, rational and intuitive methods in making analysis of its affairs.
