Regional and International Challenges for Human Rights Implementation in Iran

The issue of human rights and its implementation in the Islamic Republic of Iran faces many internal, regional and international challenges. Regarding internal challenges, the existence of Islamic values ​​and norms in the development, interpretation and implementation of human rights does not pay much attention to liberal, western, and imported approaches and pursues its own independent approach. Considering international challenges, it has been repeatedly revealed that human rights is a means to pressure other countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, in other areas. This dual approach is also pursued in the regional context. For example, despite the pressure on Iran by international institutions, the obvious violation of human rights in neighboring countries is not highlighted. Therefore, the present paper raised the following question: What are the regional and international challenges of human rights implementation in Iran? The hypothesis presented is that the dual approach of the West in dealing with human rights in Iran has created a wide range of regional, international, and internal challenges.
