“Grave agony”, apparent interpretation, Hermeneutical commentary and confronting the rejections1

The belief in the resurrection is one of the important issues in Shari'a and plays an effective role in human thought and action. Interval world and its complications are considered the first steps of entering the Hereafter. Transcripts considered the torment of the grave definitive and talk about it in details. These texts in superficial viewpoint refer to material events. On the contrary, philosophical views interpret these narrations and all of these events in the first steps of the interval an imaginational world. By an analytical- descriptive method in the present paper we have made a comparative study between the two perspectives and evaluated the ability and functionality of each one and have shown that Hermeneutic point of view has more success in responding the rejections and has more coherence with religious textss.
