Patient-Guide Model: A New Approach in Designing Knowledge-Based Approaches According to the Requirements of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Basically, any strategic plan results in practical ineffectiveness without considering the state of present knowledge and the desired situation, and making an analysis of knowledge gap. In the meantime, prescriptive, descriptive and combination approaches to the strategic knowledge management have come across great challenges and incapability in the Islamic Republic of Iran due to their specific structure and texture. Relying on religious and Islamic principles and reducing the defects of Western models, this research is intended to propose an indigenous and contingency model for national level organization through interactive approaches. Identifying the main criteria of success, this model considers 9 factors and 198 indicators with emphasis on the reference point approach. Of course, they are presented in two groups of authorizers and stabilizers as variables. The data were then measured quantitatively and qualitatively, and were defuzzificated through the Shannon entropy. The opinion of the auditors and their weights were determined by the least squares. Meanwhile, the model was put to practice in one of the defense industries to confirm its applicability. The results indicated that the organization needed only seven main factors out of the nine ones and 20 indicators were required from 198 ones. The results also showed that the organization remains in the static situation regarding basic, strategic and religious factors. Yet, with regard to physical and cultural factors, it was in the state of inhibitor (withdrawal) with a value of 0.158. All in all, the whole organization is in a weak position, therefore, the researcher suggest that the inhibitor factors change into static situation and then make progress and move to the driver situation, while the drivers are supposed to be strengthened.
