Evaluating the Effectiveness of Ethical Security Police Measures in Confronting Inappropriate Hijab
The inappropriate hijab issue is one of the outcomes of the soft war of enemies of the Islamic Revolution in the form of cultural invasion, which has been considered as one of the main topics and issues of the authorities at various levels and people in recent years. The Ethical Security Police, of the subgroups of Public Security and Counter-Intelligence Police, is a custodian to deal with the inappropriate-hijab phenomenon that has taken actions in various areas. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of ethical security police actions against inappropriate hijab in Qazvin.
In terms of its objectives this study is of an applied research type and in terms of its nature, it is considered as a descriptive-survey study that has been conducted using filed study method. Library and documentary studies have been employed for the development of theoretical foundations. The statistical population of the study consisted of women in Qazvin with a total of 199,046 individuals. The sample size was determined as 400 using cluster sampling method and Cochran formula. The results showed that the ethical, social, and cultural measures of the police are effective in counteracting inappropriate hijab in Qazvin. The social, cultural, and situational actions of the Ethical Security Police also account for 62 percent of the change in the effectiveness of the Ethical Security Police's actions in dealing with inappropriate hijab
