Abstract:
Abnormal motions of pelvic were related to running injury. In other hand, according to high wideness in pelvic range of motion finding normal values of it is difficult. Probably, causes of this wideness is existence homogenous groups in healthy papulation based on limbs motion. Therefore, the first aim of this study was finding homogenous groups of healthy runners based on pelvic motions. Second was investigations of motion pattern and principle component difference in the groups. 3-D kinematics of pelvic of ninety healthy young runners were recorded during running. Principle component analysis was used for reduce in data dimension. Fore finding homogenous groups, hierarchical method was applied. Group’s difference were tested by ANOVA. Result showed that two homogenous groups with 36 and 54 subjects are exist all runners based on pelvic motions in sagittal and transverse plane. Finding healthy homogenous groups based motion and difference between groups is useful for correct interpretation of pelvic movement during running, rooting of running injury and their rehabilitation.
