Studying the relationship between imagery and sport success with kinesthesia memory in male athlete college students

Understanding imagery and kinesthesia are psychological and mental dynamic aspect that according to recent studies, have an important role in athletic filed. The purpose of this study was the relation between imagery and sport success with kinesthesia memory in male athlete college students.  Descriptive study method is used and it was of correlation type. According to a Simple random sampling from 100 students in different fields, 34 students at volleyball, 33 students at badminton, 33 students at wrestling among students’ of state university of Kohdasht in 2016-2017 with the mean age of 21/80±1/94 are purposefully chosen. To collect data, with Personal information questionnaire, ego orientation in sport questionnaire, movement imagery questionnaire, bimanual coordination tests and Ablacova force control dominant-hand's (1990) were used. Data was analyzed by person's correlation test, multilevel regression analysis and the Analysis of variances. Shown in findings, volleyball players got a better score than other athletes in terms of sport success, imagery and kinesthesia. The results of analysis of variance showed a meaningful relation between imagery and sport success with and kinesthesia.The results showed that sports which their main factor of success is the kinesthesia of handed had better kinesthesia and imagery.
