Abstract:
Abstract The overthrowing of motives and mythical vision whether in the form of reproduction and recreating old myths or in creating modern myths indicates the roots of myths in minds, language, soul, and world of man and the inevitability of this communicative circle. The present study by emphasizing on fertility myth and the archetype of martyring god – which is one of the fundamental motives in mythical world- analyses the image of Mirza’s revolt and character in the poems of Guilan’s poets. And the article shows how the temporal and historical revolt of Mirza in the world of poetry, in fertility myth, and in transforming Mirza to hero-god has moved away from time fence and became eternal. Mirza is a vegetal god, who revolts against the tyranny and suffocation of the time. His murder/death is a conscious choice for awakening of the society. He is born again in plant/ tree body every year and with his own blood, he waters Guilan’s jungles (fertility and rebirth).
