The Semiological Analysis Of "Aesthetic" As Phenomenological Critique Of Formalism

Abstract:
The debate between Pro-intellectualists and Pro-empiricists in the field of artistic perception is one of the most long-term philosophic quarrels in the history of philosophy of art and aesthetics. We have tried in this paper to notice the "sensual" origin of "Aesthetic" and criticize pure formalist visions which established exclusively on rational/conceptual reasoning، and also criticize pure empiricist visions exclusively based on objective world and the nature of artistic objects by applying semiological terminology/etymology method as a part of broader phenomenological methodology. Through the discussion، the authors have tried to infer the way in front of the phenomenology as a solution of duality which exists between Realism and Idealism and narrowing the gap between "the sensible" and "the intellectual". In the main body of this paper infer to theories through the history of philosophy and aesthetics which have compatibility with and confirm this semiological analysis findings.
