The consequences of provincialization of electoral constituency of the Parliament of Islamic republic of Iran (By using of Grounded theory)

This research aims to study the consequences of provincialization of electoral constituency of the Parliament of Islamic republic of Iran. The method used in the current research was based on the Grounded theory. The 70 interviews of parliament’s member, political activists, executives, university specialists, and some related documents have analyzed in three coding steps: open coding, axial coding and selective coding. Sampling method is theoretical sampling and all interviews have been analyzed to achieve theoretical saturation. The research findings suggest that the consequences of provincialization of electoral constituency of the Parliament are categorized in five themes, political, economic, social, organizational and legal consequences. The relationship between these categories is explained and the results of the research are compared with previous studies.
