Key Success Factors Affecting Joint Design and Commercialization Projects in Aviation Industry

Organizations are seeking to create value in a collaborative project, which leads to economic and technological growth. The purpose of the research is to identify the factors affecting the success of the joint design and commercialization projects aiming new product development. In this research, several factors have been identified and categorized by reviewing related literature and interviewing experts as well as studying cases available in the air industry, and have been evaluated by distributing a questionnaire among experts. As a result, 23 criteria were identified after studying the literature. Of these, 14 criteria were screened according to the opinion of the experts in the air industry through a questionnaire via thematic analysis as the most effective factors. These 14 indicators were placed through the second questionnaire by fuzzy DEMATEL method and with the opinion of related experts in 3 categories of knowledge and technology, project management and partner selection. It was found that the knowledge and technology as well as project management indicators are effective and causal criteria, and the criteria of partners selection is an impressible and caused. Also, the most impressive sub criteria include expert project manager, possessing operational experience of collaboration and focusing on international airspace standards.
