The Relationship between Accuracy and Attention and Driving Behavior with High Risk Lifestyle among Motorcyclists

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of driving attention and driving behavior on high risk lifestyle among motorcycle riders in Bandar Abbas. The research method is descriptive correlational. The statistical population of the study was all motorcycle riders in Bandar Abbas city in 2017. According to the Kerjesian and Morgan tables, 400 subjects were selected as sample size using a subsampling sampling. The instruments used in this study were Toulouse Pearson squares test, Manchester City's Behavioral Behavior Inventory questionnaire 27, Stressling and Meadows questionnaire (2000), and Hammond, Simmons and Elsfar (2010) lifestyle questionnaires. The findings of this research showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between accuracy variables in normal mode, precision in double situations and accuracy in distraction conditions with all five risky lifestyle components in alpha level of 0.01, and between driving behavior and high risk lifestyle there is a positive and significant relationship between alpha 0.01.
