The Effectiveness of gender education on the gender identity of 7-11-year-old children in Shiraz

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of sexual education on the sexual identity of children from 7 to 11 years old in Shiraz. 56 students of the elementary school in the region of Shiraz in the academic year 97-1396 were voluntarily selected and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. The experimental group received eight 45-minute sessions of sexual education. While the control group did not receive any intervention. Students completed the Gender Role Identity questionnaire of children in different cultures before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis and SPSS software.
