Defamiliarization Application in the Movie "Range-Khoda" Directed by Majid Majidi

Judgment in the form does not go away from the aesthetics area and sensory perception, and the analysis of artworks focuses on the art itself, and set of elements of the constructor, the relations between them and the co-ordination and the order between them. This essay seeks to answer to this question, how the defamiliarization technique is used in Rang-e khoda. In this paper, using a descriptive-analytical method, we analyze the Rang-e khoda in terms of structure and content based on the technique of defamiliarization. The results show that Majidi has been able to Foregrounding objects and phenomena using the defamiliarization method. He highlights the "sound" element and, as a repeating element, unifies multiple actions. Majidi in the movie of ‘Rang-e khoda’, while Defamiliarization in the form, also focuses on the Habitual concepts of the content and make them unfamiliar and attracts the attention of the audience to the thinking about the universe and the creatures.
