Patterns of geopolitical relations between the media of the west and the media of the Islamic world

Today's modern technologies evoke a form of manifestation of power that has been the source of new interactions and conflicts in the international policy area. Hence, Western countries, relying on communication technologies and geopolitical strategies, are directing the behavior of Muslim nations by influencing their behavior and attitude toward moving on western development patterns. On the other hand, the Islamic world media, that are working with the goal of anti-domination and the social justice, are the main barrier to this design. In the geomedia era, which has given its physical geography place to the cyberspace and virtual space, what is certain is that the power of the media has made it possible for western countries of geopolitical domination to overcome by geopolitical relations patterns and affect their geopolitical models, in result of that, the geopolitical relationship between the media of the West and the Islamic world is significant, and by recognizing its dimensions, it could be a good adventure in this great international war. Research findings show that geopolitical relations between media follow four patterns of domination, infiltration, competition, and interaction. What is designed by the Western media to communicate with the Islamic world media is based on patterns of domination and infiltration. With the development of media policy and integration strategy, it is possible to change the direction of this unfair media stream towards interaction and competition patterns.
