The Triple Dynamic Interactive Model of Foreign Policy based on Imam Khomeini’s View

This article with recognizing the three different periods in Imam Khomeini’s foreign policy and with using the content analysis method, attempts to show the Imam Khomeini’s model of behavior in his foreign policy actions. Accordingly, his logic of action in this periods is described in three forms of “Nation oriented non-alignment”, “Ummah oriented idealism” and “Nation-Ummah idealism”.
Based on the findings of this research, Imam Khomeini’s foreign policy model with using such a characteristics as graduation and expansion, is seeking to a kind of interactive relationship with a realistic and idealistic views to foreign policy, which can used to earn the national and ummah interests in the best way. Accordingly, what that is important here, is to preserve fundamental Islamic and internal principles in field of foreign policy based on his views, which needed to balance between nation oriented and ummah oriented goals in field of foreign policy.
