The Analysis of Syrian Crisis (2004-2018) and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Interest Dr. Abdul Rahman Alem Mahdi Agaberary Abstract: Syrian crisis is one of the crises would lead to the human catastrophe in the way all regional countries have a certain point of view towards it. Syrian crisis has proven the inefficiency of international organizations like Security Council. Since the beginning of Syrian civil war and the intervention of regional and great powers, Iran has adopted a certain approach towards the crisis. Iran’s strategy originated from Imam Khomeini’s discourse, Supreme Leader, Iran’s constitution and Isl amic Republic of Iran’s interest. Iran’s security interest include: maintenance of resistance axis, prevention of radicals’ emergence, reduction of regional influence of regional powers like Saudi Arabia. So, the behavior patterns of Iran in order to serve Iran’s interests include: strategic support, alliance and coalition,economic aide and military advisors.    Key Words: Syria, Iran, Crisis, Neorealism, National Interest
