Preventive Penal Methods for Crimes (Focusing on Assault and Battery Crime)

The recent study in order to determine the effective penal preventive ways to stop the crime and by focusing on assault and battery crime has been done. The research is practical and concerning the methodology is descriptive and survey. The statistic population is the elites and experts of West Azerbaijan Command Center that are 150 people randomly. The instrument to collect data is through interview and questionnaire that has been analyzed through statistical tests. The findings show that there is a meaningful difference between the status qua and desired condition for penal prevention of assault and battery. Among the effective ways of penal prevention are constant Diagnostics, Observing the citizens right of suspects in police stations is in number one priority and turning the punishment over the personality of officer who has committed the assault and battery to make a reform- making fear concerning the prosecution among the personnel have been prioritized in number two and three categories.
