Stylistic Analysis of Taherbag’s Kurdish Poetry

One of the methods of studying works of literature is stylistic studying. Style is the specific way of understanding and expressing of thoughts using words and terms choice and way of interpretation. In this method, internal and external aspects and also the three aspects of voice, meaning and image are considered. Taherbag Jaf is one of the contemporary Kurd poets. In the study of his literature, simile and added simile have the most frequency between his similes. Allusion also has the most usage in Taherbag’s  poems. In his thought, expressing love to the beloved has the most share, and in studying his language it is clear that he has used many Arabic terms. The present study is going to introduce this Kurd poet and also examine the stylistic of his Kurdish sonnets, using Analytical-Descriptive method.
