Investigating the threats and vulnerability of energy transmission lines with the passive defense approach
In recent decades, the experiences of the new wars have shown that the aggressive armies have targeted attacks that have been critical to the country in order to reduce costs and increase the damage to the invading countries. Due to its high importance, energy transmission pipelines are considered as one of the vital arteries and should be considered as passive defense measures on these lines and the threats of these lines should be evaluated. The leading research methodology is a descriptive method of content analysis. Delphi technique has been used to utilize the best way to communicate with experts. In this research, we tried to investigate these lines and consider threats analysis indicators including severity of impact, probability of success and probability of occurrence as well as vulnerability indicators including secondary injuries, component weakness, reconstruction, access, identification and synergistic effects, first this Indicators are weighted by AHP’s hierarchical method and then addressed to prioritize threats. Among the threat indicators, the severity of the impact was 0.383, the probability of success was 0.333, and eventually a weight gain of 0.283. Among the vulnerability indicators, three accessibility indexes with a weight of 0.184, a synergistic effect with a weight of 0.170, and rehabilitation with a weight of 0.169 are the first three priorities. Finally, three threats based on all indicators, a terrorist threat with a weight of 0.254, vandalism with a weight of 0.191, and a threat to design and implementation bugs with a weight of 0.148 were ranked third.
