A Comparative Study on Iranian and Indian Elements of Curriculum of Teacher Education systems
The aim of this research is a comparative study of elements of Curriculum of teacher training centers in India and Iran. The method of the research is comparative, and based on model of Brady that comprised of four stages including description, interpretation, proximity, and comparison in comparative studies. Data collected through documents and library documents and research reports, encyclopedias, and statutes of universities, searches on the World Wide Web, have been compiled from the websites of the Ministry of Research of the countries under study. The sample of this study is India and Iran, which are selected on the basis of targeted sampling method. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the curriculum of Teacher Education between Iran and India in the areas of goals, content, learning teaching process, learning, evaluation, training, information and communication technology (ICT).
