Investigating the Relationship between Torbat-e-Heydarieh Primary School Teachers' Resilience and Job Burnout and Organizational Climate
The aim of the present study conducted in the academic year of 1396-1397 was the investigation of the possible relationship between Torbat-e Heydariyeh elementary school teachers' resilience on one hand and job burnout and organizational climate on the other hand. It was a quantitative, applied and correlational study in terms of nature, purpose, and research type, respectively. The population included all elementary urban and rural school teachers in the mentioned city (N= 900). The sample including 269 teachers was selected using a one-stage cluster sampling method. The data collection instruments were Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC, 2003), the Maslach Burnout Inventory (1981), and the questionnaire of organizational climate by Halpin and Craft (OCDQ, 2000). The data was analyed using such tests as Pearson correlation coefficient, independent samples t-test, regression, one-way ANOVA, and skewness coefficient in SPSS (22). The results showed that resilience was significantly correlated with job burnout and organizational climate and job burnout was significantly correlated with organizational climate.
