Describes of Conceptualized Metaphorical in Short Story of Iran

This thesis is an analytic-descriptive research that studies the conceptual metaphors of fear, pain and joins in Sminin Daneshvar’s works. The researcher aims to answer this question: to some extent, the sexuality of authors influence the style of her. The chosen corpus in this research consists of 120 selected sentences that included conceptual metaphors of fear, pain and joins. The achievements of this research show that the usage of mentioned metaphors and their frequencies to some extant influenced by sexuality of the authors. In addition, the analysis of data in the chosen works from Simin Daneshvar shows that the source cognitive domains which were used by the author are animals, plants, motion and instrument and also the cognitive source domains used others books of Daneshvar work are animals, plants and instrument. Moreover, the samples of these conceptual metaphors in the works of mentioned authors are “the joins is movement”, “the fear is animal”, “The fear is non- stability” and “the pain is sound”. Also the writing style of the authors influenced by her sexuality, therefore the chosen source cognitive domains used by the mentioned authors are dependent to sexuality of them. For instance, the woman used the metaphor of joins more that the man counterpart.
