The policy of using solar radiation energy in the distribution of geographical areasUsing ArcGIS applications
1166/5000 Solar energy is one of the most important and cleanest types of renewable energy in the world. Suitable climatic conditions in Iran due to its special geographical location and high potential for receiving solar energy, is a factor to make the most of this huge source of clean energy production, so the present study aims to policy the utilization of areas prone to solar plans. Which is based on climatic data. For this reason, first by preparing the layers of solar radiation, the total number of sunny hours and the number of cloudy days as the most important climatic factors affecting the amount of radiation, and in the next stage, limiting layers such as distance from population centers and topographic layers of the region were added. The area of Tehran province is considered as a reference for surveys and the analysis of distributions has been analyzed using reference spatial data and using GIS software. According to this research, 4% of the province (553 square kilometers) are very suitable areas, 9% are suitable areas, 16% are relatively suitable areas and 71% are unsuitable areas for the development and installation of solar systems. Also, the results showed that the areas east of Tehran are a good platform for the development of solar panels because in addition to the appropriate area, the photovoltaic power of these areas is estimated more than other areas.
