The Economic Factors Affecting the Value Added of Iran’s Agricultural Sector

Abstract:

Investigating the development process of different countries, suggests that the development of the agricultural sectors as one of the most important economic sectors or ever beyond, is a vital prerequisite for the sustainable development of the country, so that without removing the obstacles to development in this sector, can not be expected to flourish and develop other sectors specially industry sectors. Given the importance of agriculture in the economy, this study set out to examine the impact of economic factors such as agricultural bank’s payment facility, trade openness and net capital of agricultural sector on value added of Iran’s agricultural sector by using johansen-juselius method from the first quarter of 2002 to the fourth quarter of 2018. The result indicate that coefficients of all these variables are statistically significant and based on the theoretical foundations. So that, in the long run, Agricultural bank’s payment facilities, trade openness and net capital of agricultural sector; all have significant and positive impacts on value added of agricultural sector.
