The effect of Quran recitation software on academic motivation and learning Quran concepts on Urmia City dist. 4 female students of fourth grade elementary school
The purpose of this study is the effect of Quran recitation software on academic motivation and Quran concepts learning in female students of fourth grade elementary school in the 2nd district of Urmia city. In terms of research purpose, this is an applied research and is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest way of execution. Statistical population comprising all female students of elementary school fourth grade consists of 2361 subjects that 54 subjects are selected as samples and are substituted randomly into 2 groups namely experiment and control groups. The data collection tool of the test included 3 parts i.e. religious concepts (beliefs, rules and ethics) and Harter’s competence motivation. The resultant data were statistically analyzed in 2 ways i.e. descriptively (frequency, frequency percentage, mean etc.) and inferentially (covariance analyze). The results showed that there is a meaningful difference (P < 0.05) among the mean of academic motivation and two components (internal and external). Moreover, among the mean scores of religious concepts of students there is a meaningful fault level of 5% (P < 0.05).
