Examining and criticizing the view of superiority of men over women Relying on the verse "Men are the rulers over women"
One of the most controversial verses of the Holy Quran is the verse "Al-Rijal Qawamun Ali Al-Nisa '" which has been cited in the Islamic legal system as one of the important arguments in expressing legal rulings. The present study uses a descriptive-analytical method to examine and critique the view of superiority of men over women based on the content of this noble verse. After reviewing the author, he came to the following conclusions that: Qawamiyat means the right to manage, protect and be the head of the family and does not include the meaning of guardianship and authority. In addition, the issue of intimacy has been raised only in relation to marriage, and the male gender has no authority over the female gender, and its territory does not include society, but is limited to family affairs. And what is meant by "by the grace of God" is the same natural and innate characteristics such as physical ability and hard work that God has given to man based on the different roles of men and women in the system of creation.
