Investigating the relationship between knowledge management with organizational commitment among Khaje- Nasir- al- dine- Tusi University personnel
The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between knowledge management and organizational commitment among employees of Khajeh Nasir al-Din Tusi University of Technology in Tehran.
This research is applied in terms of purpose and correlational in terms of descriptive method. The statistical population of the study was 139 employees of Khajeh Nasir al-Din Tusi University of Technology in Tehran. According to Krejcie and Morgan table, 100 people were randomly selected from relative classes. The research instruments included the standard questionnaire of knowledge management of Probest et al. (2000) and the localized questionnaire of Allen and Mir (1997). Their reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of knowledge management questionnaire 0.942 and organizational commitment 0.716, respectively. Research data were analyzed by SPSS 19 software using Pearson correlation coefficient.
It shows that there is a significant relationship between knowledge management and organizational commitment at the confidence level of 0.05. In the research sub-hypotheses, there is a significant relationship between knowledge management with continuous commitment and emotional commitment, except for the sub-index of knowledge creation, but there is no significant relationship between knowledge management and normative commitment.
It can be concluded that by improving knowledge management, organizational commitment in the employees of knowledge organizations is improved.
